You can be assured that the well-being of our rescues will always come first. We have a process that we follow for all adopters.  This process starts with the Adoption Application which requires personal references as well as a vet reference. A home visit will also be required and it will be arranged by DDR. 

 In the mean time you should take the time to put together a list of questions as well as wants and expectations from a new dog for you and your family.  This will help us determine if the rescue is a good match.  You might wish to ask the foster mom to test the rescue in certain situations or you may wish to speak to the foster mom yourself. 

Once vetted and ready for a home, Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc. sends all rescues to foster in a home setting rather than a kennel setting.  This way rescues can be better evaluated after living in a home setting.  Foster families learn about the rescues and help with basic training.  You can be sure that they will be well socialized while waiting to find their forever home. The foster family helps make the rescue the best they can be.  In some cases dogs are adopted without heading to a foster and in this event they are transported directly to the approved adopter.  Many families are comfortable in a direct rescue to adopter situation and our organization offers a full thirty day refund plus will always take our dogs back for the life of the dog.

All Diamond dogs are up to date on vaccinations, fixed, and micro chipped before they are available for adoption.  The adoption fee 

is $350.00.  We require personal references, a vet reference and a home check.
